A very colourful day

Riba

It was a brilliantly colourful day at the launch of the pavilion designed by our very talented students in Regents Park recently.

Chloe Stanton English Teacher at Mayesbrook Park School said: ‘This morning we were blessed to have wonderful weather- even a rainbow briefly- to meet with RIBA and Poor collective representatives to launch the stunning pavilion designed by Mayesbrook Park students in Regents Park.

'The installation is beautiful, brightly coloured and carefully constructed to have areas in the roof where light can shine in. We were all able to stand and sit on the pavilion as members of the public are encouraged to touch and explore the installation as a tactile piece of architecture.

'We were treated to lots to eat, a tour of the photography exhibition and the chance to learn technical photography skills in a workshop. It was an unforgettable opportunity to see the creativity of our students and we were made to feel so welcome by all at RIBA’.
