Take part in structured PSHEE careers lessons which encourage students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, think about their skills and qualities and future career options.
Attend workshops and assemblies led by external organisations/speakers to look at options available for post 16.
Students work towards skills builder targets in lessons to develop their employability skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, decision making and leadership.
All students can attend our careers fair that we hold on site at school – they will be able to talk to a number of local FE Colleges and Training Providers.
At Key Stage 4 students will:

Attend an impartial careers interview with an independent careers advisor (1:1 and group sessions) Visit Colleges and Universities.
Work closely with our transition team who will help students to apply for colleges/apprenticeships/complete CV’s and will be offered continuous support Post 16.
